Facebook makeover leaves devotees fuming

The after effects of the new Facebook when it was launched. Facebook eventually created much devotees fuming due to the new layout and functions which did not match what the people wanted. Furthermore, the people are just so used to the previous Facebook interfaces until they do not intent any changes in Facebook. Reasoning to this is basically the society are comfortable with the previous layouts and the acts of a social networking website. Facebook engineer Mark Slee (2008) told the AFP that the website's team is confident they can win over their users because Nikki Gerwel explained the world is all about changes. These changes take place to provide better quality changes which then could attract and maintaining people to devoting to the site. About.com (2008) also describes a combination of form of and function creates the meaning of a document as a whole and whenever a change in the form of a document will eventually modify their functions which lead to a change in the document’s genre. This shows a change happens to build or create better services to the society.

Furthermore, Technology has been always developing to shape the world to a better place. That is why Facebook has taken this step in upgrading their new formats. The new interface allows members use tabs to gain priority to fresh pictures, messages, or "feeds" on main profile pages and compartmentalize mini-applications and "static" information such as curriculum vitae.

Towards my opinion i would say that the members and also new members should adapt to the new Facebook interchange. Reasoning to this is because as Walsh (2006) multimodels play an important role in creating that attaction thus also it allows simplicity to the members to use. Walsh (2006) further mentions that, with the new layout and upgrades done it creates affordance to the people as it provides better views, gadgets and the interactiveness of the new Facebook. Besides that, these changes are for the better not for the worst for the society. Slee (2008) mentions that "We are focusing on innovating and making the product better". That is why i would strongly agree that Facebook wants to satisfy members to gain the best experience they can get compared to the current Facebook.
