Trends have been changing, technology developments are taking place quicker than than expected. Based on my personal observation, blogs has become a booming medium. The society had adapted to promote their thoughts, feelings and understandings about the world.
Trends in Asia is mounting significantly fast in using blogs. According to Technorati (2008), Asian internet users create blogs for the purpose to earn money, this however does not fully means that all internet users create blogs for money purposes but to have a personal blog as a virtual diary for everyone to see. Technorati (2008) also mentions that many blogs readers fail to see the credible cource for looking because they may not be a dependable medium to trust on comparing to the traditional media.
The benefits of blogs to the community:
- Allows sharing of ideas to other people
- Create a sociable place
- Bring awareness to the public of current issues
